This is the initial commercial release of FlexFMX. For future versions, users with an active maintenance agreement will receive a 50% discount on new versions. FlexFMX Frequently Asked Questions
How does the FlexFMX licence work?
Each licence is tied to the specific version of FlexFMX you purchase. You may use that version indefinitely in commercial or personal applications. The licence does not include future major versions unless separately purchased or covered by maintenance.
Do I need a separate licence for each developer?
Yes. Licences are issued per developer or per seat depending on the licence type purchased. Each active developer using FlexFMX requires a valid licence.
What is included in the 1-year maintenance plan?
Maintenance includes bug fixes, incremental improvements, and compatibility updates for new Delphi versions released during the active maintenance period.
What happens when maintenance expires?
You keep the last version released during your active maintenance period, but you will no longer receive updates, bug fixes, or new Delphi compatibility updates unless you renew maintenance.
Will FlexFMX support future versions of Delphi?
Yes, but only for users with an active maintenance agreement. Updates for new Delphi versions are delivered during the maintenance period.
Are major upgrades included?
No. Major upgrades (e.g. v1 to v2) are treated as separate paid versions. Maintenance covers fixes and compatibility updates only, not full new product versions.
Can I use FlexFMX on multiple machines?
Yes, but only if they are used by the same licensed developer under a per-developer licence and only on two machines. Licences cannot be shared between multiple individuals.
Is there a trial available?
Yes. A 14-day free trial is available so you can evaluate FlexFMX before purchasing.
Can I get a refund after purchase?
No. Due to the digital nature of the product and the availability of a trial period, all sales are final once a licence is issued.
How do upgrades work?
New major versions are released separately and can be purchased at full or discounted upgrade pricing depending on your maintenance status.
